Job Description

The engineering department needs to add 3 – 5 Electrical Engineers. Positions vary from general electrical engineering, detailed IC design, process control and development, to product design and verification. The goal of this team is to devise, fabricate, test, and implement the next generation of optoelectronic devices. This includes, but is not limited to, photonic sensors (biological, chemical, and biometric sensors) and transistors. The technical challenges involve developing both materials and process techniques for production and prototyping.

Qualifications

Successful team members should have 2 years experience, with demonstrated competency, in two or more of the following areas:

Mixed signal design
FPGA design with Verilog / VHDL
Imaging systems and sensors
Analog and digital signal processing
Simulation and verification using Spice
ASIC design and layout
Instrument control using Labview, Matlab, or C
IC fabrication techniques
Package design and interface
Nanotechnology materials or fabrication
Control system design

All candidates should also have the following:

Team-oriented, highly motivated, able to work well under pressure
Good knowledge of English (spoken and written)

Education Level

BSEE required, MSEE a plus
