A New Class of Semiconductors
NANOIDENT's Semiconductor 2.0™ technology, developed by our multidisciplinary team of world-class scientists and industrial engineers, combines liquid conductive and semiconductive materials with high-speed printing techniques to print electronic circuits on a variety of surfaces, manufacturing a new class of optoelectronic sensors in mere hours for prototype as well as high volume applications. The resulting components have application-specific spectral properties, and can be large-area, bendable, disposable, light, and ultrathin. These unique characteristics enable us to develop revolutionary solutions that will create new high-volume opportunities in the life science, security, and industrial markets.
With the world’s first factory for printed sensors, we produce custom-designed printed semiconductor solutions for OEM customers, for use in a wide variety of applications. We have earned a leadership position in a growing number of vertical market segments through our market-focused subsidiaries and have already developed a new class of photonic solutions including chemical, biological, biometric, and industrial sensors. Privately held, NANOIDENT is based in Linz, Austria, with subsidiaries in Grenoble, France; Nuremberg, Germany; and San Francisco, California.
